Rob Voorkamp (42) is Director of IP Licensing at Philips. He graduated from the Technical University in Eindhoven (the Netherlands) with a Master in Mechanical Engineering.

Throughout his 17-year career, Rob held several positions in project management, marketing and business development in different types of industry. In 2005 Rob joined Philips Intellectual Property & Standards, where he is responsible for new business creation through IP Licensing to third parties. The IP includes patents, trademarks, know-how and other types of technology that will help the licensee to build a successful business.

Currently Rob is following an Executive Master in Business Innovation at TiasNimbas Business School in Tilburg (the Netherlands) focused in start-up of high-tech ventures.
