Barry is currently the Director of Technology for Sancoa International. He is responsible for new product development, technology and innovation for Sancoa’s label and flexible container business.

Prior to his current position at Sancoa, Barry held technology and business management positions at Applied Extrusion Technologies (AET) and Hercules, Inc. including Vice President of Technology and Senior Business Director. While at AET, he had responsibility for technology development, innovation and business strategy and led their flexible packaging sustainability initiative.

Barry is currently a member of the Board of Directors of NanoPack, Inc., a materials science company that has developed and is marketing barrier coating technology for packaging applications.

Barry has a PhD from the University of Akron and a BS from Ursinus College.
