Jim is currently the Senior Director of Technology Strategy and Innovation for TE Connectivity. He is working with the business units to develop and communicate our technology strategy and increase our innovation efforts. He has been with the company since 1989, when he joined Raychem Corporation as a research scientist. Over the last 21 years he has held positions in corporate and several business units. These position include:

• Director of Global Marketing and Business Development and Director of Global Technology in Circuit Protection Division
• Director of Innovation in Computer, Communications and Consumer Electronics
• Program Manager, Lithium Polymer Batteries, and Senior Research Scientist in Corporate R&D

Jim has authored or co-authored 20 US Patents. He has a PhD in Chemistry from Caltech, an MS from Rutgers University, and a BS from Haverford College. Prior to earning his PhD, Jim worked at Honeywell in the lithium polymer battery program.
