Dave Edwards is Chief Technology Officer at Avery Dennison.
Dr. Edwards was educated at Cambridge University, England, and graduated with a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering in 1984. He immediately left for America to join Union Carbide for what was his favorite job as a simple R&D scientist, moving up through marketing, and then production manager. He then journeyed back across the Atlantic to join the British Printing Company in 1995 as Managing Director.
He joined Avery Dennison in 1999 as New Business Development Director, and after a few moves in increasing (at least some would argue) responsibility, became CTO in 2005.
Dr. Edwards lives in Pasadena California and is married with 3 children.
