| Polymer films and coatings are used in the electronics industry as insulating materials and protective coatings. Many aromatic polymers have superior mechanical strength, thermal stability, and solvent resistance. The polymer film patent portfolio includes aromatic polymers useful as insulating layers in multilayer integrated circuit devices due to low dielectric constants, low moisture absorption, and good thermal stability. Polymer properties, such as thermal stability and resistance to solvents can be further improved by crosslinking the polymers. Particular crosslinking agents useful with the aromatic polymers have also been developed. Polymers prepared with these crosslinking agents have excellent thermal stability and solvent resistanceFluorinated aromatic polymers as insulators molded articles coatings films particular fluorinated dielectric constants moisture absorption glass transition temperatures good solvent resistance applications intermetal integrated circuit devices passivation encapsulating layers optical loss materials signal transmission waveguides portfolio composition matter claims certain crosslinked beneficial linking agents crosslinking themselves electronic insulating layersAromatic poly(napthyl ether) poly(arylene ethers) bistriazine compounds peroxydic structures polyimides ketones) poly(quinoxalines) nonaromatic fluoropolymers aliphatic CH groups bistriazines Additionally reactive end novel approach Further oxadizole triazene co-monomers endcappers 200 less demonstrated |
