| This patented technology has been widely employed in various digital audio recorder/player adopting non-volatile semiconductor memory devices since late 1990's. In 1991, this technology was made and It's patent application was filed in a number of countries throughout the world. An objective of the invention is to provide a digital audio storage system overcoming drawbacks and shortcomings caused by the moving mechanical parts utilized in conventional audio storage/playback systems. The conventional audio system has an inherent problem for the moving mechanical parts, such as a rotary head, tape drive, CD drive and magnetic disk drive, which are subject to degradation over time due to wear and tear, and physical shock, thereby limiting the reliability and useful lifetime, and increasing maintenance cost thereof. Further, another objective of the invention is to provide a digital audio storage and playback system functioning up-down load of digital audio data to and from a computer.
