| This invention provides a unique, cost effective, commercially practical method of attaching a top layer to a nonwoven substrate, thereby providing resistance of the top layer to wear and increasing the wet strength of the nonwoven substrate. The product incorporates an abrasive surface of polymeric abrasive beads printed onto a nonwoven (paper or synthetic) substrate, thus forming a suitably strong product for cleaning and wiping. Specifics of composition, analyses, and manufacture using a paper substrate are included that could result in shortening the time to market. |
