| The inventor has developed a unique binder system for ceramic injection molding that eliminates the need for thermal or chemical debinding required by competing systems. The water based binder system enables molding at low pressure (approx. 175-300psi) on standard, low cost plastic injection molding equipment, resulting in parts with excellent dimensional stability. Design flexibility is enhanced with the ability to mold both thin and thick cross sections. The entire process is environmentally friendly, producing no toxic gasses or waste material. |
