| Glass elements that form a pattern in the glass layer, are embedded in flexible polymer layers. In this way, a crack pattern can be fixed in the glass, yet flexibility of the sheet is maintained. For security, the pattern can be recognised and the extra density of the glass can be measured. The crack lines can be cut by laser or by controlled scratching with a glass cutter. Moreover the glass elements can be reorientated adding extra security information to the card. |
