| We have satisfied the contradicting requirements to simultaneously achieve high-precision transfer while reducing manufacturing cycle time. We did so by devising a stamper spawned by original ideas within the company. This molding technique achieves the perfect fit for the efficient manufacture of parts that call for high precision. Results are especially good for thin molded parts, including optical disks. It achieves superior results not only for etching methods, but for injection methods as well. Take the production of optical disks for CDs and DVDs. We were able to reduce the manufacturing cycle time by about half while achieving high quality disk production at low-cost. Beyond that, plant investment is kept to a minimum because the stamper need only be adapted to an existing die.
