| Add data of any type into standard JPEG images with patented SoundPix, a suite of software, tools, and embedded programming. The SoundPix suite is widely applicable, and able to add any data to the JPEG-format digital images that are used in applications and on the Web, yet leave those images fully compatible with software that uses and edits JPEGs, such as browsers, email, and photo-editing software. The technology has been commercialized to embed sound into JPEGs, notably on Treo phones. It adds a new, lifelike dimension to the still image. However, the information it can embed into JPEGs is not limited to sound. SoundPix can embed any normally non-JPEG data.
