| A new Non-Contact, Non-Heat Imaging Technology that allows for a vastly higher materials use efficiency and that can provide entirely new applications where on demand, high speed image generation is not possible or is currently too expensive or too slow. The system is either 100% solids or water based and can be applied using any conventional printing method, including ink jet. This means a wider variety of materials can be printed or coated without textural limitations and that the associated conventional, high printing and coating speeds can be used. Since no heat or contact impressions are used, images or printed areas can be placed in areas and on materials that could never before be used, including on actual parts and objects. Finally, it appears that the simpler image development equipment is less expensive that the current thermal imaging equipment by up to 50%. |
