| The invention is an apparatus for controlling the amount of solar energy and heat transferred into and out of a building or other structure through a glazed opening using a system of pneumatically actuated, reflective shutters. A small blower provides a source of airflow to operate a system of inflatable, reflective shutter elements. A photoelectric sensing element installed at the level of the growing plants gauges the intensity of the sunlight entering through the glazed roof and sends signals to the control valve to either restrict or constrict the amount of air flowing through the venturi. How much air is blowing through the venturi will determine how much the shutters are tilted to allow sunlight into the greenhouse. |
