| The Power Router is a patented next generation power factor conditioning device that specifically addresses the issue of power loss that occurs when converting from AC to DC power. This innovative technology allows users to utilize more than 98% of the power drawn directly from the grid, rather than the standard 55%. The Power Router ensures that efficient power consumption is achieved when operating electronic devices in the home or office. It seamlessly integrates with any electronic device and functions as an improvement to all power conditioning devices such as surge protectors and universal power supplies (UPS). The Power Router is equipped with a unique FPGLA programmable chip that enables the conversion of AC to DC power to maximize the power drawn from the grid to produce the most efficient power possible. These programmable chips are placed on every boost block to utilize each block’s output for controlling energy. The Power Router also features a super mini compositor that serves to retain the saved energy. The Power Router utilizes power factor correction techniques to maximize the power extracted directly from the power grids. Power Factor is an indication of to the amount of power utilized in performing work relative to the total current provided by the power grid. Currently, the power factor for electronic devices used in the home and office is at most 0.55. This translates into about only 55% of the power source actually being used to produce work. The Power Router addresses this issue by enabling a power factor that is more than 0.98, resulting in the maximum power utilized. |
