| This ingenious three-dimensional loop reactor for viscous monomer polymerization, especially (meth)acrylic polymerization, utilizes a serious of bends with interspersed straight segments of critical length to enable molecular weight control, narrow distribution control, and heat removal. Because of its configuration it provides intense mixing without in-line static mixers, even at laminar flow rates.
