| The present invention concerns a device and method of application for pinpoint delivery of micro-quantities of pharmaceutical compositions to a predetermined location on the outer hard coat of the eye, resulting in increased permeability at that location. Simple glaucoma is a genetically determined, age-related, ocular disease and is one of the world's leading causes of blindness. Glaucoma is treated nonsurgically and surgically, both with the aim of achieving an increase in aqueous outflow or a decrease in its inflow with consequent lowering of intraocular pressure.
