| The present invention relates to a multifunctional medical tool for use in proctologic applications, during which a surgeon has to manipulate a surgical instrument, brought within the anal canal. Anoscopies are frequently used today for various medical procedures including hemorrhoidectomies, polypectomies, fissurectomies as well as for diagnostic needs. The current techniques have several limitations: surgical applications requires two operators, procedures are performed by freehand and there are multiple exchanges of surgical tools. The present invention resolves some of these issues by providing a tool that requires only a single operator, provides support and traction for tools and multiple tools and functions for simultaneous use.
