| In organic light emitting device (OLED) different layers are deposited in order to fabricate the final layout with limitations in terms of costs and lifetime. The fabrication of novel devices architectures based on single metal percolated layers with embedded emitting molecules (semiconducting nanocrystals) is simplified resulting in reduced manufacturing costs. The novel device can be fabricated in both vertical (as for OLED) and horizontal architecture with a two side light emission and a further simplification of the manufacturing route (no high cost trasparent conductive oxide is needed). Moreover the use of inorganic molecules will enhance the lifetime of the final devices.INTRODUCTION |
