| This solubilized copper system for wood preservation has compelling economics, is efficacious at low copper loadings, and exhibits a low rate of copper leach into the environment from the treated wood. It is non-corrosive, non-toxic, odorless, and has neutral pH. Licensees of this technology can select from a set of tested additives to tune the efficacy of the preservative treatment. Extensive lab and field data are available to aid the licensees in their selection process.
