| Deliverable on a wide variety of backings, this pressure sensitive strong adhesive is easily removed (as in peeling a wound dressing) when the temperature is raised above the switching temperature. Passing through the switching temperature reduces adhesion strength about an order of magnitude. The bonding strength and switching temperature can be tuned by formulation. A modified version of the invention provides for pressure sensitive adhsive assemblies that have temperature switchable peel strength but maintain tack above and below the switching temperature.
