yet2 Heads to Bay Area for Technology Tour & More!
On a recent California Bay Area technology tour, yet2 arranged face-to-face meetings for a client with companies representing the cutting edge of technology in the client’s interest areas.
Starting from a curated list of over 60 leads, yet2 worked with our client to prioritize, schedule and prepare for meetings with the companies that most closely met their partnership and technology goals. Over four days, yet2’s clients reviewed data, business models and partnership opportunities with eighteen organizations, resulting in next steps and movement toward deals with five top solution providers.
While in San Francisco, yet2 also attended IndieBio’s start-up demonstration day as well as touring the IndieBio facilities. IndieBio is biotech start-up accelerator providing companies with hands-on mentorship, access to biosafety level 1 and 2 laboratories and seed funding.
On February 9th, IndieBio held their fourth demo day for a class of 13 companies covering technologies ranging from pet microbiome testing to depression treatment devices and DNA-based data storage. To an audience mainly filled with investors and tech enthusiasts, each start-up pitched their technology and opportunities for partnership or funding. yet2 is excited to follow the progress of IndieBio’s fourth class and looks forward to seeing what is in store for the upcoming fifth cohort!
