Job Description:

Responsible for arranging weekly new business pitch meetings against a target, for themselves and the wider sales function. Developing a long-term pipeline of clients that will transition into accounts. Following up on all new leads & prospects, directly liaising with the marketing function to support ongoing outreach campaigns.

The ideal candidate:

Will be a highly resilient self-starter, motivated and willing to learn in a technical sales environment. You will be comfortable with a “consultative” sales approach, and a gradual sales cycle, reaching sales agreements for large fees. You will be able to build ongoing key relationships with new sales targets, and comprehensively feed this intel back into a technically astute project delivery & management team.

Major Responsibilities and Deliverables:

  • Setting regular sales appointments against a KPI
  • Sales outreach
  • Arranging “pitch calls” on a frequent basis
  • Assisting account managers with sales outreach
  • Maintaining CRM to a high standard
  • Preparing stats for own performance on a weekly basis
  • Liaising with the wider sales & marketing function on a regular basis
  • Build a pipeline of opportunities in the CRM
  • Meeting annual targets for revenue & sales calls



  • Sales background of at least 2-3 years in a predominately B2B environment
  • Track record of delivering against revenue or another similar measure
  • Ability to “objection handle” and problem solve under pressure
  • Experience of new business focused outreach
  • Must be able to “build” lists of targets and gather key intel
  • Comfortable managing own diary and keeping track of all sales opportunities
