Cecile Degorce
Vice President and Director of Innovation Services
Cecile has been with yet2 since 2013. She is responsible for innovation and technology assessment projects as well as for overseeing scouting activities for major corporations and SMEs across Europe.
Cecile has extensive experience in technology scouting and OI improvement projects for Fortune 500 companies in an array of fields, such personal care, home care, food and beverage, packaging, electronics amongst others.
She also has a strong background in organic, physical and biological chemistry. She had previously held positions in Open Innovation and technology scouting companies, a two-year postdoctoral fellowship at the Commissariat à l’énergie atomique (CEA) and a research associate position at Novartis Pharmaceuticals.
Cecile holds a PhD in Organic Chemistry from the University of Leeds. She is also a graduate of the Ecole Nationale de Chimie de Lille, and received her MSc in Medicinal Chemistry from the University of Leeds.
