A yet2 client is seeking clinical decision support (CDS) technologies that aid medical providers to enhance testing and diagnosis rates of various chronic diseases. Solutions must offer integration with existing electronic health record (EHR) systems; ideal solutions will have existing partnerships with health systems or EHR companies. Â
Background:
CDS software provides clinicians with access to current, evidence-based medical information, helping them make more informed decisions about patient care. These systems streamline workflows by automating routine tasks, such as medication reminders and order sets, or enhance clinical decision-making by providing evidence-based guidance, actionable alerts, and recommendations to enhance patient care and safety. CDS systems can also help identify patients at risk and enable early identification of diseases, while also facilitating personalized treatment plans by incorporating patient-specific data into recommendations.
