Seeking: Dairy-alternative Beverage Formulations

Overview:

This yet2 client is seeking organizations with the ability to reformulate a RTD dairy beverage into a non-dairy beverage while maintaining the original taste, mouthfeel and stability.

 

Background:

Manufacturing dairy beverages requires specialist equipment and procedures due to the cleaning requirements and microbiological risks posed by dairy.  This yet2 client is seeking to reformulate an existing RTD dairy beverage to a dairy-alternative in order to bring the manufacturing in-house.  The reformulation poses significant challenges around taste, mouthfeel and stability, as a result, this yet2 client is seeking an organization with experience in re-formulating such beverages to maintain the original consumer experience.

 

Key Criteria:

  • Solutions should ensure that the current consumer experience is maintained, including taste, mouthfeel and stability.
  • Solutions that are commercially ready are of highest priority, however solutions that are currently in development are also of interest. Research stage solutions are out of scope for this project. 
  • Organizations with experience in dairy-alternative alcoholic beverages are of high interest.

 

Possible Solution Areas:

Solutions are welcome from a range of organizations, including but not limited to consultants, ingredient suppliers, manufacturers, formulation specialists.

 

Desired outcome of the solution:

This yet2 client is open to a range of partnerships.
