Altria’s Open Innovation Portal offers a single location for individuals, startups and other organizations to send their ideas into Altria, the Altria Center for Research and Technology, and Nu Mark, an innovation company focused on developing and marketing a portfolio of superior reduced risk products that adult smokers and vapers may choose over cigarettes.  Altria now has a streamlined process where each submission goes through the same company-approved legal process and agreement. Ideas are vetted and filtered along pre-approved categories and qualifications, assessed, and if qualified, passed along to the appropriate team at Altria or Nu Mark.
