Overview:
A yet2 client is seeking novel technologies to improve skin health through targeting fitness and resilience, with a focus on cellular energetics and senescence to ensure that the skin is in the optimum condition to respond to environmental challenges and utilise topically applied products. Novel technologies can be applied topically or ingested as a nutraceutical.
Possible solutions could include (but are not limited to):
- Novel active ingredients (e.g. senolytics, senomporphics, mitochondrial function enhancers, and cellular metabolism boosters)
- Novel targeted delivery systems (e.g. encapsulation, penetration enhancers, solubilizers, and prodrugs)
- Novel application devices (e.g. microneedle patches, and electroporation)
Solutions must have proven efficacy data either in vitro or in vivo showing benefits to skin health by targeting either the senescent or energetic pathways.
Desired:
- Solutions that can also enhance other standard skincare actives alongside its own unique benefits
Constraints
