yet2 is supporting the United States Bureau of Reclamation (Reclamation) in their technology scouting search for arsenic sensor and analysis technologies. Reclamation is a US governmental agency tasked with supporting water management via numerous programs, initiatives, and activities, while protecting the environment and the public’s investment in water-related infrastructure throughout much of the western United States. Reclamation would like to be made aware of technologies in three categories of arsenic sensors and analysis tools:

  • Field test kits
  • Handheld measurement devices, and
  • Online analysis tools and platforms

Of particular interest are technologies that can (1) detect total arsenic in the range of 1 to 100 parts per billion, and (2) differentiate between arsenite (As(III)), arsenate (As(V)), and total arsenic. A range of technology readiness levels and stages of development, from proof-of-concept to commercialized and available for purchase, are of interest.

Know of a Relevant Technology?

If you are aware of a technology fitting into one of the categories of arsenic sensors and analysis tools listed above and would like to bring it to Reclamation’s  attention, please contact yet2 via the email address listed below. Please include with your message, or be prepared to discuss, the following non-confidential details about the technology:

  • Brief technology and process description
  • Reported accuracy and precision metrics
  • Consumables and waste products associated with the testing/sensing technology
  • Approximate cost and shelf life (if applicable)
  • Target market(s) and use case(s)

Additional details and clarifications about this technology scouting search are available upon request.
