Overview:
This organization is seeking processes and innovations for increasing the sustainability of their packaging processing.
Background:
In looking towards improving their overall sustainability, the organization recognizes that their current packaging process for consumer products should be optimized to reduce/eliminate waste produced as well as reduce their carbon footprint. They are open to a wide variety of solutions for any part of the packaging process and supply chain.
Criteria:
- Must have an obvious sustainability-related benefit – less material utilized, reduction of energy, etc.
- At least at the prototype stage, ideally at the commercial stage with proven client benefits
- Scalable
- Cost-effective.
Possible Solution Areas:
- Packaging design/configuration
- Manufacturing/processing equipment
- Supply chain solutions
