A yet2 client wants to identify non-invasive measuring technologies and wearables that can monitor the wellness level of the consumer.
Background
With the rising consumer awareness in wellness, non-invasive technologies, such as wearables, that can provide real-time personalized health information have received extensive attention. A range of health data such as calories expenditure, heart rate, VO2 max, and body temperature have been widely measured by commercial products.
The goal for this project is to identify emerging non-invasive wearables, measuring devices, and test kits that can provide wellness level information through improved or novel mechanisms.
Constraints
Measuring or wearable technologies will:
- Be non-invasive approach that can ideally provide information real-time
- Have scientific evidence backing the mechanisms and claims
- Be user friendly (convenient to use, good user experience, mobile app integration etc.)
Example Solution Areas, but not limited to:
- Sweat patches
- Saliva measurements
- At-home test kits
Desired Outcome of the Solution
Looking for partners to develop the technology.
Field of Use and Intended Applications
Devices or tests that indicate wellness status change for consumers
Previously Attempted Solutions
Sweat sensors that measure hydration levels
