Overview:
A yet2 client is seeking technologies and solutions that can be used to determine the composition and distribution of geological materials present in the ground, that is performed in situ. Ideally at real-time or near-real-time within an automated system as this provides valuable data to guide more efficient extraction from the ground.
Background
Knowledge of the grades (concentration) of various elements in a rock/ore body allows for more efficient extraction, as areas with high concentrations of the desired elements are prioritisable.
