A yet2 client is seeking to assess and prioritize high value protein/nutrient opportunities that can be derived from poultry meat by-products, whole chicken, and chicken parts. Our client currently supplies the pet food and animal feed industries.
Background:
Commercial meat production often results in large quantities of rejected product which creates a significant amount of by-product that is often discarded. Organic recycling or valorization of these by-products can often result in high-value nutrients, including keratin, collagen, and gelatin.
