Overview:
A yet2 client is seeking an organization to develop and manufacture a medicated antacid based chew or gummy and help bring these new products to market.
Potential partners would need to be working within an EU OTC medical device or medicine regulatory framework. Companies only working with food supplements, for example, would not be suitable. yet2’s client is particularly keen to identify Europe-based companies, although other geographies are potentially of interest.
Criteria:
- Partners must understand and be capable of working within an EU OTC medical device or medicine regulatory framework.
- Antacid of interest is Calcium Carbonate however other antacids will be considered if they provide an equivalent Antacid Neutralizing Capability.
- Partners with blistering capabilities are preferred.
- CDMOs should be capable of producing multiple flavors.
- The CDMO should have similar products available to give the possibility to evaluate physical and organoleptic characteristics on existing gummies or chews.
Desired outcome of the solution:
Our client is open to a wide range of partnerships with a CDMO that has the applicable capabilities.
